Saturday, February 20, 2010 - Members of the Columbia No. 1 Fire Department had a busy day of training today. While members completed there SCBA re-certification at the firehouse, other members traveled to HACC to complete the final review for NFPA 1006 Vehicle/Machinery. Later in the evening, Assistant Chief Dejesus and his wife Kelly attended the Highville Fire Company (6-2) membership banquet. Congratulations to the members of Highville who were award winners. Thanks to Highville for there hospitality.
This coming Tuesday members will travel to Wrightsville Fire & Rescue to start a 'Special Vehicle Rescue Program' hosted by Wrightsville and the PA State Fire Academy.
